  10. This security program is designed for Windows 95 and 
  11. Windows 98 only.  This program is designed to block
  12. access to your boot drive (drive C:\) when it is 
  13. removed or booted from a floppy disk.  This process will
  14. help ensure that no data or startup files on your C:\
  15. drive are changed without your knowledge.  This utility
  16. is NOT an access control utility, but will work with
  17. The Lock to create the most secure environment possible.

  20. Emergency Boot Disk:
  21. Be sure to create an emergency access boot disk during 
  22. setup.  In the event that access to the drive is needed 
  23. from a bootable floppy disk, the BDL Emergency disk will 
  24. have to be used.  Only the BDL Emergency disk created on 
  25. this system will disable Boot Drive Lock successfully.

  28. Virus Scanning Software:
  29. Boot Drive Lock modifies your hard disk in order to 
  30. secure your system.  You should disable all virus 
  31. software, including any BIOS virus detection that is 
  32. configured in CMOS Setup.  These programs may report 
  33. the changes made by Boot Drive Lock as possible virus 
  34. activity.  If you get this message, simply press OK to 
  35. continue.

  37. Once Boot Drive Lock is installed, any Virus software may 
  38. be re-enabled.

  44. Primary Boot drive cannot be accessed from a boot 
  45. floppy disk or when slaved to another hard drive.

  50. 2) Access any data on the first physical hard disk or 
  51. 3) remove any DOS or Windows security that you have installed.
