  16. The AntiViral Toolkit Pro for Windows 95/98/NT AOL edition is a special package
  17. of protection of users against computer viruses. It represents a new step in the
  18. struggle against computer viruses and is optimized for the work 32-bit
  19. applications of Microsoft Windows 95/98. AVP uses all possibilities of these
  20. operation platforms. AVP is easy to be used, it has a very large antivirus
  21. database, which is constantly being updated to as new viruses appear.

  30. To install AVP into your computer carry out the following steps:
  31. - insert the disk with AVP;
  32. - run SETUP132.EXE;
  33. - follow all of the instructions of installation of AVP;
  34. - to register AVP please type number pointed in your registration card
  35.   or any number in case of evaluation copy.

  40. AVP 3.0:
  41. - scans disks, operative memory, files, and sectors of disks, and system
  42. areas (Boot sector, MBR, Partition table) to detect and eliminate viruses;
  43. - detects and removes the next types of viruses;
  44.     - polymorphic (mutants);
  45.     - stealth viruses;
  46.     - special viruses which have been written for Windows 95;
  47.     - macro viruses in Word and Excel;
  48. - uses a Code Analyzer which is able to detect about 80% of unknown viruses;
  49. - has a mode of scanning packed files (Unpacking Engine);
  50. - has a mode of scanning archived files (Extracting Engine);
  51. - a possibility of automatically scanning;
  52. - a wide range of settings;
