  8. Welcome to new version of Coordinate Calculator. It differs from previous
  9. version 1.0 with using of new coordinate system, recommended by Defence
  10. Mapping Agency(DMA). It can calculate coordinates more accurate in different
  11. projection and  on different spheroids(see topic Short Introduction).
  12. Coordinate Calculator is a 32-bit application and can run under Windows 95
  13. and Windows NT.

  27. Before you do anything else, please fill out the registration form that comes
  28. with Calculator.  Not only does this register you for technical support, it
  29. also lets us know where to send any future builds or vital information as it
  30. becomes available.  When you register, you will be helping both yourself and
  31. us.

  35.              Software and hardware requirements
  36.  
  37. The software is developed as a 32-bit application for Windows 95 (not
  38. DOS/Windows 3.1) on x86 platform.
  39.  
  40. Minimal hardware requirements are the following:
  41. * Pentium 90;
  42. * 16 Mb RAM;
  43. * 5 Mb hard disk;
  44.  
  45.        Installation and start of Coordinate Calculator
  46.  
  47. 1. To install Coordinate Calculator start SETUP.EXE.
  48. For installation it is necessary to specify destination directory on your
  49. hard disk where the program is to be installed. By default Coordinate
  50. Calculator will be installed in the directory Program Files\CCalc.
  51.  
  52. 2. Note. If the demonstration samples are installed, it is necessary to
  53. select   "." (dot) as decimal separator in Settings->Control Panel->Regional
  54. Settings.

  56. 3. To start the program select Start->Programs->Coordinate Calculator.
