  16. Gallery Mage 2 is a complete Digital Photography Film Management tool.
  17. It allows you to organise, caption, rotate, crop, extract exif info, rename
  18. your digital pictures while it does NOT alter the original image data.
  19. All such actions are performed when the gallery is exported for viewing by 
  20. an external program (such as a web photo gallery script).
  21.           
  22. This tool is a companion to the GPL'ed Simple Picture Gallery Manager 
  23. (http://spgm.sourceforge.net/). SPGM is a PHP script which displays 
  24. thumbnailed galleries of pictures.  It is fairly easy to set up and use,
  25. you simply upload the script, and place all of your galleries in the "gal" 
  26. directory of that script. Unfortunately, you need to create thumbnailed 
  27. images and individual text files containing the captions for each image which 
  28. can be a little time consuming.  Gallery Mage makes that easier by presenting 
  29. you with page of images, where you can enter captions and select which ones
  30. you want in your galleries.  It also automatically generates thumbnails when you export
  31. a gallery

  33. Gallery Mage allows you to keep your original photos and your edited and downsized
  34. photos seperate, and provides a convenient bridge between these two layers.  The
  35. architecture allows for the exportation of a gallery to several different displaying
  36. programs.  Currently the following are supported by Tank Software:
