- 1.1 - Installing 32bit Web Browser

- Go to http://www.electrasoft.com/pas.htm and download the newest version.
- During installation, it will ask you for your registration name and email
- address. Enter the name and email address you want Popup Ad Stopper to be
- registered to. This is the name and email address that you will be known
- to us at ElectraSoft as. You can change any of these items later if you
- wish. It will also ask you for a registration code. Don't worry if you do
- not have it yet, you can get it later.

- Popup Ad Stopper is a simple, easy to use popup blocker. Popup Ad Stopper
- works with any web browser, not just one or a select few, like most popup
- blockers. Popup Ad Stopper actually filters web page content as it is
- coming in from the Internet, before it reaches your web browser.

- 1.3 - Tips

- Since Popup Ad Stopper actually filters incoming TCP/IP packets, it must
- be assigned what network adapter to filter for, if there is more than one
- adapter. By default, Popup Ad Stopper will be bound to the last adapter it
- finds. If it is not blocking popups, then you may need to change to the
- correct network adapter. To do this, go into the [Configure] tab and
- choose a different network adapter for the [Use Network Adapter] drop down
- list. If you do not know which one to select, just pick the next one down
- in consecutive order.

- Whenever a popup is blocked, Popup Ad Stopper will log the date, time, and
- popup method that was blocked, in the [History Log] tab dialog box.

- For more tips on the features, you can use the ToolTips by making sure
- that [Help], [Show ToolTips for Beginners] is checked. When this is
- checked, when you put your mouse pointer over an option, a text message
- will display information about that option.

- In this text area, there will be a log of what popups were blocked. A log
- entry consists of: Date, Time, and popup method that was blocked. The date
- is in the world standard format: YYYY/MM/DD.

- If checked, Shows ToolTips for Beginners. When you do not need ToolTips
- any longer, un-check this by clicking on it.
