  22.     After a number of software installations and un-installations, the registry
  23.     becomes full of nagging file references pointing to where the files used
  24.     to reside but no longer exist. Registry First Aid will find any files
  25.     and folders that may have been moved on your hard drive and help you
  26.     correct the registry entries that point to them.
  27.  
  28.     Registry First Aid scans the registry for orphan file/folder references,
  29.     invalid font references, obsolete Start Menu items, invalid fonts,
  30.     shared DLLs, application paths and more...

  32.     Registry First Aid finds referenced files, folders or fonts on your drives
  33.     (if they're moved from initial locations) and corrects registry entries
  34.     to located objects. Also, if your registry still retains links to file(s)
  35.     of deleted applications, Registry First Aid will find these invalid entries
  36.     and you might want to delete them. With this powerful tool, your Windows«
  37.     registry will always be clean and correct.

  115.     SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
  116.     ------------------------------------------------------------------------
  117.     To run the software, your system must meet the following requirements:
  118.  
  119.      * Windows« 98/ME, Windows« NT 4.0/2000/XP/2003 or later;
  120.      * About 2 Mb of free space on your hard drive;
  121.      * 32 Mb of RAM or more;
  122.      * Under Windows 95/NT4 the program requires Internet Explorer 4
  123.        integrated shell libraries (active desktop) installed prior to any
  124.        later IE version;
  125.      * Some knowledge of the registry :).

  128.     INSTALLATION
  129.     ------------------------------------------------------------------------
  130.     To install the software, do the following steps:
  131.  
  132.      * Quit the already running version of the program, if any;
  133.      * Unzip the new software package file into temporary directory, if it's 
  134.        zipped;
  135.      * Run EXE file;
  136.      * Follow the prompts.
  137.     If you have a previous version of the program, you may install
  138.     the new version into the same folder. The installation will
  139.     upgrade all old program files and keep all your backup files and
  140.     the program settings.
  141.  
  142.     Some of anti-virus software may report a key logger virus in AgentH.dll
  143.     file. This is due to pure virus detections scheme. AgentH.dll does NOT
  144.     contain any virus or trojan code. It has a call to Windows API function
  145.     that helps to detect user inactivity. RFA shows friendly notifications 
  146.     only when user computer is in idle.
  147.

  149.     UPGRADING
  150.     ------------------------------------------------------------------------
  151.     You do not have to uninstall a previous version before installing a new one.
  152.     You may install the new version into the same folder as before. Then
  153.     the installation will upgrade all old program files and keep all your
  154.     backup files.
  155.     Follow the installation instructions above.
  156.     If you are a registered user then installing a new version over the existing
  157.     one will keep your license key. This works for all builds of a same major
  158.     version, i.e. for versions from 3.0.0 to 3.9.9, from 4.0.0 to 4.9.9, etc.

  161.     UNINSTALLATION

  163.     To uninstall the software, do the following steps:
  164.  
  165.      * Click the 'Start' button;
  166.      * Select 'Settings' -> 'Control Panel';
  167.      * Double-click on 'Add/Remove Programs' icon;
  168.      * Select the software name from the list and press 'Add/Remove...' button.
  169.      OR
  170.      * Click the 'Start' button;
  171.      * Select 'Programs', find the software group;
  172.      * Select 'Uninstall' from submenu.

  175.     KNOWN PROBLEMS
  176.     ------------------------------------------------------------------------
  177.     Some Windows« 98 SE systems hung after running the program.
  178.     Sometimes a Kernel32.dll error appears.
  179.  
  180.     This means that an anti-virus or fire-wall software program has replaced one
  181.     or more of system DLLs that prevents the program from correctly using some
  182.     system functions. It is very hard to find out what software changed system
  183.     libraries. We keep working to find all incompatibilities with other programs.
