Known problems
---------------------------------------------------------------------
AMD and Cyrix based systems
---------------------------------------
This game uses the floating point processor for compression of voice
data. You may want to disable voice playback if your processor is
'floating point challenged'. This applies to most AMD and some slower
Cyrix CPUs.
Voice playback can be disabled by adding the line
Voice=0
to the [Sound] section of the FTA2.INI file in your Windows directory.
Removing the game CD while in use
---------------------------------------
Unless you used the unreasonably large instllation of the game, you
should leave the game CD in the drive while playing the game, and
even then you should not eject the CD while the videos are playing.
If the CD is ejected while the game is using it, the system may halt,
and you will probably need to reboot.

Manual Configuration Options (for advanced users)
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Note: The uninstall program is likely to give you a "Not all
components could be uninstalled" type warning if you change
your configuration manually. You can safely ignore this warning.
File locations
---------------------------------------
The game uses entries in the [Paths] section of the FTA2.INI file to
locate all its files. You can manually configure where these files
are by moving the files and changing these entries.
FILE INI entry CD path Description
-------------------------------------------------------------------
FTAIMAGE.HRS ImageFile d:\RES All graphics data
FTASOUND.HRS SoundFile d:\RES Music and non-voice sound FX

Other options
---------------------------------------
Note that these options are unsupported, and if you have any
problems with them, then don't use them.
Disabling audio: You can disable particular aspects of the audio in
the game by adding one of these options to the [Sound] section
of the INI file.
Voice=0 disables voice playback
Sound=0 disables one shot sound effects
Loops=0 disables looping background sounds
Music=0 disables MIDI music
