The minimum system requirements to run F1 WORLD GRAND PRIX demo are:
Minimum Spec:
╖ A 100% Windows 95/98 compatible computer system (including compatible drivers for CD-ROM drive,
video card, sound card and input devices)
╖ Pentium 166MMX or AMD K62 3DNow
╖ 32MB RAM
╖ Double Speed CD-ROM drive
╖ D3D - compatible 3D Hardware Accelerator with a minimum of 4MB memory.
╖ 100% Direct X 7.0 compatible sound card
╖ 100% Microsoft-compatible mouse and driver.
**Please be aware of the minimum system requirements for F1 WORLD GRAND PRIX demo. If any of
these requirements are not met the game may not install or run properly.**
**Also please note that the minimum specifications are what is required for
F1 WORLD GRAND PRIX demo to run. To fully enjoy the game, the way it was meant to be, we
highly recommend system components that meet or exceed the recommendations.**

== II. Installation/Uninstall ==

To install F1 WORLD GRAND PRIX demo on your system, double click on the self-extracting exe. After the files have unzipped the install program should start automatically. If this does not occur, unzip the file and then;
1) Double-click on Setup.exe
2) The Install program will start automatically. Please follow the onscreen instructions.
** Notes: If you wish to uninstall F1 WORLD GRAND PRIX demo please do so through the
Add/Remove Programs option in the Control Panel Settings.
The game installs on your system the latest Indeo codec (5.11).

== III. Troubleshooting ==

1) ATI Rage Fury Maxx
Problem: The front-end menus are displayed with corrupted sprites in full screen.
Solution: The problem disappears when installing the latest driver available from ATI.

2) NVIDIA GeFORCE256(TM)
Problem: With some 3d cards based on the GeForce 256, the game crashes during the loading after the front-end menus,
before entering the track.
Solution: The problem disappears when installing the latest driver available from the nVidia site.

3) MATROX G400
Problem: Heat haze effect gives corrupted results in resolutions 1024x768 and 512x384
Solution: Matrox is working to provide a solution in a new version of the driver.
In the meantime, either disconnect Heat haze effect in the Graphical options menu or
do not use these resolutions if you want to dispaly Heat haze.
4)Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback wheel
Problem: Sidewinder profiles affects the behavoviour of the controller in the game.
Solution: The game does not need any profile for the Sidewinder. Set the controller to "No profile" in the

WINDOW MODE
The game is activated by default in full screen mode. After it has loaded and reached the first menu, it can be put in a window and back in full screen by entering "ATL Enter".
