  1. Promotional Version of iGrafx Business
  2.  
  3. This version of iGrafx Business is a promotional version only. The complete version of iGrafx Business contains Graphics, Image, and 3D components. However, the promotional version contains only the Graphics component, and a smaller set of content than the complete version. All features of the Graphics component are enabled except the following:

  5.     Save and Save As commands
  6.     Cut/Copy and Paste to other applications
  7.     Print command
  8.     All other outputs such as Web page and e-mail

  25. 1. Read the Micrografx license agreement provided on the back of the jewel case containing the iGrafx Business application CD-ROM. When you break the seal, you automatically agree to comply with the license.

  27. 2. Complete and mail the registration card. As a registered user, you receive technical support and important product upgrade information.

  29. 3. Install iGrafx Business.
  30.  
  31.   To install iGrafx Business on Windows 95 or NT 4.0:  
  32.     a. Insert the Application CD-ROM in your CD-ROM drive.
  33.     b. Double-click the CD-ROM drive icon in My Computer.
  34.     c. Double-click SETUP.EXE.
  35.     d. Follow the instructions on screen.

  40. This software will not install to Windows NT 3.51.

  42. Filenames

Filenames over 255 characters, including the path, may not be detectable or accessible by some components of the iGrafx Business. This includes many file types such as application components, data files, clip art, palettes, etc. If this occurs, make sure the filename and  path is less than 255 characters.

  48. Double-byte character sets

  51. iGrafx Business supports double-byte character sets. This means if you run any of our programs on the Chinese or Korean versions of Windows 95, you can use native non-English character sets.

  54. Virus checkers
  55. --------------

  57. Virus checkers installed with "strict" checking prevent you from copying files to the hard disk until the checker has scanned the file. If you have a virus checker on your system, disable the checker or set it to a different mode before installing iGrafx Business.

  60. About fonts

  62. Windows requires that fonts be installed to the same drive where Windows is located. If your computer's hard drive is set up as more than one drive (for example, drive C: and drive D:), you can install iGrafx Business to any drive, but you must have enough space available for fonts on the drive that contains Windows.

  64. Number of Characters Limit in the Install Path

  67. When prompted to enter the installation path, you may experience problems if the path is greater than 64 characters.  This is an installer limitation.  Use an installation path of less than 64 characters.
