  10. THE SHAREWARE CONCEPT

  12.   Shareware is licensed commercial software which the authors make available
  13.   on a try-before-you-buy basis.  Users may evaluate a Shareware product for
  14.   a set period, by the end of which they must either pay for the product
  15.   (known as Registration) or stop using it.
  16.  
  17.   Copying of Shareware, subject to the above conditions, is not only allowed,
  18.   it is encouraged.  Pass copies on to interested friends and colleagues.
  19.   Shareware authors rely on the integrity of users to abide by the conditions
  20.   of the license, and register the product if they want to continue using it.
  21.   Many, like ARK ANGLES, also give added benefits to users who register.

  24. ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

  26.   This program is Shareware, and may be freely copied and distributed subject
  27.   to the terms described in the VENDINFO.DIZ file.  The program may be tried
  28.   out for up to 30 days without charge, after which users should register it
  29.   or cease to use it.

  32.   is licensed software, and copying or using it without paying for it, except

  56.   A Single license is A$45, US$39, Stg25, DM60, Yen4500 or equivalent.  This
  57.   license allows for use of either the DOS or Windows version of the program
  58.   by one user or on one machine, and entitles you to all the benefits listed
  59.   above.  Wholesale and quantity discounts are available.

  61.   A Room license is A$90, US$78, Stg50, DM120, Yen9000 or equivalent.  This
  62.   license allows unlimited copies to be used in one classroom or office,
  63.   and is ideal for schools and colleges.

  65.   Larger site licenses and enterprise licenses are also available.

  67.   A Kiosk license is A$200, US$175, Stg120, DM280, Yen20000 or equivalent.
  68.   This license allows public use on one machine, and provides a modified
  69.   full screen tamper-proof Windows version of the program with space for
  70.   advertising. This version of the program is also available for duplication

  75.   Updates are released periodically, and unregistered copies of the latest
  76.   version are available from ARK ANGLES for just a shipping charge of $5
  77.   each, or from many good Shareware vendors.

  82. HOW TO REGISTER
  83.  
  84.   Nothing is simpler.  We accept cash (of course), cheques (but may wait for
  85.   them to clear if they are large amounts), credit cards (AmEx, Bankcard,
  86.   Diners, Mastercard or Visa), bank drafts or postal/money orders.

  88.   Credit cards will always be billed in Australian dollars (A$) so you get
  89.   the latest and best exchange rate.  Cash, cheques, drafts etc can be in
  90.   Australian dollars or your local currency.  Calculate local currency prices
  91.   from any of the published International prices at the current exchange rate.

  93.   There are five easy ways to register, available 24 hours a day:

  95.   1. PHONE:  Get your credit card ready, then call (02)4758-8100 for Australian
  96.      customers or ++61-2-4758-8100 for International customers, and leave your
  97.      ordering information with the operator or answering machine.

  99.   2. FAX:  If you have a fax card on your computer, then simply edit the file
  100.      ORDERFRM.TXT with all the necessary information, otherwise print it and
  101.      fill it in manually.  Make sure all your credit card info is there, then
  102.      fax it to (02)4758-8638 for Australian customers or ++61-2-4758-8638 for
  103.      International customers.

  105.   3. POST:  Print ORDERFRM.TXT and fill it in.  Include credit card info,
  106.      or cheque, draft or money order and post to ARK ANGLES at PO Box 190,

  109.   4. E-MAIL:  Insert ORDERFRM.TXT into a note, fill it in with your credit
  110.      card information, and send it to arkangles@compuserve.com. Your credit
  111.      card details can be encrypted by CATALOG.EXE.

  113.   5. SWREG:  Sign on to CompuServe and GO SWREG.  Order using Registration Id

  211.   ARK ANGLES and/or the author of this program warrant the physical disks and
  212.   related printed matter to be free of significant defects in materials and
  213.   workmanship, and that the program works largely in accordance with its
  214.   documentation.  This warranty is effective for three months from date of
  215.   registration, and is not transferrable.

  217.   No liability is accepted for any loss, damage or inconvenience caused by
  218.   the use of this product.  No warranty is made that it is suitable for any
  219.   particular person or purpose.  If this product is useful to you then please
  220.   register it, otherwise don't use it and don't pay for it.
