The Customise Easy Setup Assistant helps you personalize MYOB Plus.
Using options or what we call "preferences", you'll be able to customise the way you enter, view and report on your accounting information.
Some preferences are designed to work specifically for you, while others are considered "System-wide" and affect everyone working with this company file.
We've preselected some of the preferences to make it easy for you to start using MYOB Plus. However, you can always change those options, if you like.

Make data entry easier
These preferences are some of the ways MYOB Plus helps you work more quickly and efficiently in your company file.
Easy-Fill helps you quickly enter accounts, items, and cards by finding a match from an existing list while you type.
Expandable Data Entry makes it easy to view very long descriptions for the line items on your sales and purchases.
You can use the ENTER key on your keyboard to move from field to field in MYOB Plus, the same way the TAB key does.
Select the way accounts, items and cards are chosen
If you find it easier to remember the names of your accounts and items, rather than their numbers, mark these options.
If you would rather select customers, suppliers, or other cards by their IDs, mark this option.
Set up multiple currencies
If you create transactions in foreign currencies, mark this option.

Create contact log entries
Your Contact Log can be used to keep track of all the contacts you've had with customers, suppliers and other people with whom you do business.
Choose the information you'd like to track in your Contact Log.
Review ageing periods
You can select to analyze your sales and purchases either by daily or monthly periods.
If you choose the daily option, you can specify the number of days in each ageing period.
Refer to the Help for detailed examples of these options.
An alternative way to view Help and the To Do List
If you select this preference, you will access Help on the Internet to get the most up-to-date information about MYOB Plus.
The To Do List helps you keep track of what needs to be done for your business. Find out who owes you money, what bills need to be paid, discounts that are expiring, what items are still on order and people you need to contact.
