  1. Some PCs with MSCDEX.EXE version 2.22 installed will run CD-Rom
  2. programs more efficiently if you install this new driver (version
  3. 2.23) in it's place. Simply note where the call to MSCDEX is in your
  4. AUTOEXEC.BAT file and copy this new driver over the old one. You may èprefer to make a backup of your original driver first, in case you
  5. wish to revert to it later.
