  16.    Installing The ViaPrint Icon:

  18.     How to install your program as an Icon with the 
  19.     Windows' Program Manager.
  20.  
  21.     1. First install the program in a DOS directory, 
  22.     outside of Windows.
  23.  
  24.     2. Start up Windows and open the PROGRAM MANAGER.
  25.  
  26.     3. Click once on the group in which you want the 
  27.     new ViaPrint Icon installed.
  28.  
  29.     4. Go up to the menu bar at the top of your screen 
  30.     and click on the word FILE.
  31.  
  32.     5. A menu drops down.  Click on NEW.
  33.  
  34.     6. You will see a window with two choices.  Select 
  35.     PROGRAM ITEM.  Then click on OKAY.
  36.  
  37.     7. Another window appears entitled PROGRAM ITEM
  38.     PROPERTIES.
  39.  
  40.     8. Click in the box labeled DESCRIPTION. Type 
  41.     "ViaPrint".
  42.  
  43.     9. Use the tab key or mouse and go to the box 
  44.     labeled COMMAND LINE.  Type the full name of the 
  45.     path to the directory where you have installed 
  46.     ViaPrint, and the name VIAPRINT.EXE. For example,
  47.     if the program is in a directory called VIAPRINT on the
  48.     C drive you would enter    C:\VIAPRINT\VIAPRINT.EXE in the 
  49.     box.

  51.     10. Use the TAB key to go to the box labeled WORKING
  52.     DIRECTORY.  Type the name of the directory in which 
  53.     you installed ViaPrint.  For example, if you 
  54.     installed the game in a directory called VIAPRINT, then 
  55.     type C:\VIAPRINT.

  57.     11. Now click on OKAY in the PROGRAM ITEM PROPERTIES
  58.     Window.
  59.  
  60.     You should now have the ViaPrint Icon installed 
  61.     in your PROGRAM MANAGER. Enjoy the program!

  64.    NOTE:

  66.    An order form is provided under the file name "ORDER.TXT".
  67.    You can Open this file using Windows Notepad and print it, or
  68.    print one from the "Viable" Button in ViaPrint itself.

  70.    NOTE 2:
  71.    
  72.    This program is written in Visual Basic.  Thus it needs the 
  73.    VBRUN300.DLL (which should be included) to run.  If you got 
  74.    your copy from an online service or bulletin board take note:
  75.  
  76.         Some BBS Sysops remove the VBRUN300.DLL file from Windows
  77.         programs that use it in order to save disk drive space.
  78.         If you are missing the VBRUN300.DLL file, log back on to
  79.         the service or BBS it came from, and, if you can't easily
  80.         find the VBRUN file, leave a comment to your Sysop asking
  81.         how he/she allows people to acquire it.

  83.    NOTE 3:
  84.     
  85.     Some printers apparently will not print .BMP pictures from
  86.     ViaPrint.  We are working to alleviate this situation - 
  87.     meanwhile you'll find ViaPrint useful without pictures!    
  88.     We suggest you use MetaFiles rather than .BMPs.

  105.    B) Create and Edit quick Comma-Delimited Ascii database right in

  109.    D) New print option to suppress the removal of blank field lines  
  110.       in multi-line Text Boxes during printout.

  120.    E) Option to show object outlines on the Screen Label.
  121.    F) Improved Angle Box accuracy.  Angle Box text can now be printed 
  122.       in color. 
  123.    G) Picture Boxes are resized to fit the current label when loaded 
  124.       in.
  125.    H) New Rulers added with measurements in Inches or Centimetres.

  128. Bug Fixes:

  130.    1. Problem with "walking" Right-aligned or Centered Text Boxes 
  131.       fixed.
  132.    2. Setting number of pages on printers that do not accept the 
  133.       Windows "number of copies" command has been fixed.  Each page 
  134.       is now built in memory before being sent to printer.
  135.    3. Strange Angle Box results on printouts has been fixed.
  136.    4. Ruler and other problems caused by "Large Font" video modes 
  137.       have been repaired.
  138.    5. Page Preview eating of Windows Resources has been fixed.
  139.    6. "Printer Offset" bug that required a negative setting has been 
  140.       fixed.
  141.    7. Horizontal and Vertical Dividers sorted out...
  142.    8. There's more, but I can't remember.  I stomped on 'em where 
  143.       I saw 'em!
