  8. Finally you can choose how many balls that YOU want in
  9. EPIC Pinball, even UNLIMITED balls! This new version of
  10. BALLS prevents the updating of your high scores (after
  11. all, BALLS is just for practice, right <g>?).
  12.  
  13. Simply copy the files BALLS.EXE and HELP.COM to your
  14. PINBALL directory.
  15.  
  16. To run, type: BALLS <enter>.
  17. Now select how many balls that you want. When you exit
  18. BALLS, Pinball will automaticly run.
  19.  
  20. If you are having memory problems make sure that you
  21. have upper memory enabled (in your CONFIG.SYS file there
  22. should be two lines that read "DEVICE=C:\DOS\HIMEM.SYS
  23. and "DEVICE=C:\DOS\EMM386.EXE"), make sure that DOS is
  24. loading high (in your CONFIG.SYS file there should be a
  25. line that reads DOS=HIGH,UMB). Reboot your computer.
  26. Then, at the prompt type: LH BALLS <enter>.
  27.  
  28. Like I said before, anytime that BALLS is run your high
  29. scores will not be touched. When you exit Pinball AFTER
  30. running BALLS the game will be reset to six balls. If
  31. you run Pinball without BALLS then all of your high
  32. scores will be logged.

  34. This program will work for EPIC Pinball packs 1, 2 AND 3
  35. as well as the shareware version!

  37. HELP.COM is a little ditty that allows you to view all of
  38. the instructions for all of the tables and also the main
  39. instructions. To run, type: HELP <enter>. You can use any
  40. table number or "ORDER" as an argument to view just that
  41. document: HELP 2
  42.           HELP 7
  43.           HELP 11
  44.           HELP ORDER

  54. been downloaded more than 5000 times from CI$ alone, and
  55. I have only received 3 postcards!!!!!, this program will
  56. run only ONCE and then disable itself....

  60. Of course I will take no responsibility if your computer
  61. blows up or one of the balls breaks the glass on your
  62. monitor <G>, but it sure works great on mine!
