- Installing the PowerPoint Animation Player & Publisher

- The following steps will install both the Animation Player and
- Publisher - the publisher to create PowerPoint Animation files,
- and the player to view PowerPoint Animation files. Before you begin,
- make sure you've installed PowerPoint for Windows 95 and are running
- Windows 95 or Windows NT 3.51 or later.

- If multiple users share a computer, you'll need to install the
- PowerPoint Animation Publisher for each user needing this functionality.

- 1.If using Microsoft Internet Explorer, click Open in the Internet
- Explorer dialog box. If using Netscape Navigator, save to a folder
- and run axpub.exe.

- 2.Launch PowerPoint 95, and then open your favorite presentation.

- 3.On the File menu, click Export as PowerPoint Animation or if you
- have the PowerPoint Internet Assistant installed, click on Export
- for Internet and then select As PowerPoint Animation

- 4.Name the PowerPoint Animation file. The Animation Publisher creates
- two files - a PPZ file and an HTM file with the same name.

- 5.In Windows Explorer, double-click the HTM file and enjoy!

- 6.When you move the PowerPoint Animation files to your server,
- you might need to add MIME mappings on your server. Refer to the
- section in the online User's Guide on How do I add PowerPoint
- Animation support

- Uninstalling the PowerPoint Animation Player

- 1.In your Windows 95 Control Panel, launch Add/Remove Programs
- 2.Choose PowerPoint Animation Player from the list.
- 3.Click on Add/Remove to uninstall the PowerPoint Animation Player.
- This also uninstalls the Animation Publisher if you installed the Animation Player and Publisher
