** ZORRO CDROM SHAREWARE **
March 24, 1995
Type INSTALL to setup Zorro. Once the game is loaded, press F1 for keyboard
commands, F2 to Save Game, F3 to Load Game & F4 to recalibrate joysticks.
(MEMORY MANAGERS)
Zorro is NOT compatible with 386 Max. Make sure to make a boot disk
which does not use the 386MAX.SYS memory manager. Here is a sample
of what a boot disk may look like for DOS 6.0.

(SVGA PROBLEMS)
Some video cards are automatically recognized by Smacker and no VESA
driver is needed. Other cards such as the ATI MACH32 need to have a VESA
driver loaded before the video can be played. If Smacker doesn't
recognize your video card, you will get an error message stating the
Smacker can't set an SVGA driver. Simply run your VESA driver for your
video card before you load Zorro.

** DON'T READ ANY FURTHER UNLESS YOU WANT CLUES FOR EACH LEVEL. **
GENERAL HINTS:
At certain points on each level, Zorro may need to take a "Leap of Faith,"
whereas Zorro jumps to another scren not knowing if he will land on anything
at all. This is particularly important near the end of the mines. Also, by
making Zorro jump up or squat, you will notice that Zorro actually moves
ahead less than actually taking a complete step. In other words, you can
press up or down to take smaller steps.
(MINES)
Zorro starts this level on the upper left hand portion of the TOTAL map.
Only one portion of the total map is displayed on the screen at any
given time; usually about 50 screens equal an entire level. Maps are
basically divided in to an 8x8 area. (8 screens across & 8 screens down.)
The Exit is in the lower right hand corner of the entire map.
(JUNGLE)
Zorro starts this level in the bottom right and the Exit is in the top
left. Beware of Man-Eating plants. The only way to get by them is to run
and jump past their vines. The Path to follow here is to go up the right side
of the map and then straight across the top to the exit on the left.
