  12. SUMMARY: midas'95 is a module player based on the midas sound system
  13.          (by sahara surfers), it plays protracker MOD, screamtracker S3M
  14.          and fasttracker2 XM modules and runs under windows 95 and
  15.          windows nt 3.51+ (4.0 compatibility assured)
  16.  
  17. FEATURES: - small 'n' nice user interface (no fancy graphics, but all
  18.             functionality packed in) amiga users will remember delitracker...
  19.             this one looks a lot like delitracker and windows cd-player.
  20.           - customizable user interfaces (3 sizes) according to how much you
  21.             want to have in the window (e.g. hide the time display etc...)
  22.           - registers (if you want) as default module player, thus enabling
  23.             double clicking a module in explorer or wincommander and opening
  24.             midas '95 player.
  25.           - drag-and-drop modules from explorer or wincommander onto the
  26.             midas window to play the module(s)
  27.           - open multiple modules at once (multi-select in the open file dialog
  28.             (shift,ctrl) or drop multiple files on the window (playlist-like))
  29.           - saves all settings (window positions, sizes, player settings)
  30.           - variable player settings (mixing rate 8kHz-44kHz, 8/16bit,
  31.             mono/stereo, variable mixing buffer size)
  32.           - no trash into your c:\windows or c:\windows\system directories...
  33.           - small .ZIP file, no stupid demo modules, no big pictures
  34.           - coded by bartman/abyss
  35.           - free! no registration fees, no nag-requesters...
  36.           - always an open ear for future improvements

  40. REQUIREMENTS: - win95/nt 3.51+
  41.               - windows-compatible soundcard
  42.               - mfc40.dll, msvcrt40.dll
  43.                 (if you have windows, you also have these)

  45. INSTALLATION: - unzip the .ZIP file into the desired directory
  46.               - drag a link onto the desktop or into the start-menu
  47.               - files required in directory: midas95.exe, midas06.dll
  48.                 (in case you get several bbs-ad like text files...)

  50. HINTS: - if you're looking for the menus, open the system menu (where 
  51.          the window minimize/maximum is in) there are menus for
  52.          'Options...' and 'About...'
  53.        - The 'i' button opens the module info window, whose position
  54.          and size is also saved (like the main window).
  55.          It's also saved if the window was open or closed when you
  56.          exited the player, and if it will be opened next time directly
  57.          when you launch the player...

  59. FUTURE IMPROVEMENTS: - sophisticated play-list management
  60.                      - icon tray display that allows you to iconify the
  61.                        player to the system tray such as FlexiCD by ms(TM)
