  9. This is an introductory text file that is supposed to stand together with the
  10. main game directory 'PinballBD'. Pinball Brain Damage is yet another pinball
  11. game for the almighty AMIGA developed by Mind's Eye Entertainment.

  15. * Requirements

  17. Pinball Brain Damage does NOT require any additional hardware extensions, it
  18. will execute on a normal A1200 with 2MB of Chip Memory. There are two versions
  19. of the game. The HD version is complete with an intro and animations, and for
  20. those without a HD, there will be a 3 disk non installable version as well.

  26. Pinball Brain Damage is an AGA pinball game, developed and optimized for the
  27. AGA Chipset.

  29. The game uses screen displays in 256 colors, Hires for normal playing and Super
  30. Hires laced for multiball. Both viewmodes are available at any time. The
  31. sprites of the balls are also in Hires and Super Hires.

  33. Multiball with 3 balls on the table at the same time.

  35. Soft, more realistic table lamp flashing.

  37. 8 different material characteristics for the table objects for more realistic
  38. rebounces.

  40. 4+1 Channel replay routine.

  42. Moving animated objects on both of the tables.

  44. Refined ball movement calculations: parameters of each ball are recalculated
  45. 400 times per second.

  47. Tablekick left, right, and up.

  49. Pseudo 3D rendering of the playfields.

  51. An easy-to-use pinball table editor, that you can assemble your own playfields
  52. with.

  58. This game is still under development. That means if we receive any opinions
  59. from you, we will be able to alter the game. If there's something you don't
  60. like, we can still change it. We are open for critics and welcome all ideas
  61. that could make this game better. Please have your say about this pinball
  62. game, because it would be more fun to play with a better game for you too,
  63. and in return, we will list you in the creditlist of the game among the names

  89. To install Pinball Brain Damage all you have to do is this:

  91. First create your game directory. If you have a HD, it will look like this
  92. DH0:Games/PinballBD. Extract the Lha Archive and copy EVERYTHING into your
  93. game directory, 'DH0:Games/PinballBD'. Assign your directory,  type this:
  94. Assign PinballBD: DH0:Games/PinballBD.

  96. Finally start the preview with 'AGA_Pinball'.
