  4. All files have been written using Hisoft Basic 2. They should compile with
  5. any other Basic compiler with only a few alterations and may be converted
  6. to Cursor and Amiga Basic very easily. However, the sub routine 'aslrequest'
  7. is specific to Hisoft Basic.

  9. The utilities use the "dos.library" to access dBASE files as fast as
  10. possible. The memory required for the buffer is allocated by using the
  11. operating system.

  16. DBF2ASC and DBVIEW may be freely distributed, but you should mention the
  17. author.
