  11. Note: This demo will copy temporary files on your hard drive in the C:\~BDAHLIA.TMP
  12.     directory, but, under normal circumstances, will remove them when the demo exits.

  14. 1. Win95 users:  This demo requires DirectX version 5 or later.  If you do not have, or
  15.     are unsure if you have the latest version of DirectX, please run DXSETUP.EXE
  16.     from the DIRECTX5 directory on the CD.  Run BD_WIN.EXE to start the demo.

  18. 2. DOS users:  Before running the demo, you must first configure your sound by
  19.     running DOSSETUP.EXE.  Once your sound is properly configured, run BD_DOS.EXE
  20.     to start the demo.

  22. 3. Problems:
  23.     Poor performance:  Some slower systems, and systems with emulated DirectSound
  24.         (most notably, Packard Bell) may experience performance problems
  25.         with Black Dahlia (specifically video playback) and Win95.  Running
  26.         the DOS version (BD_DOS.EXE) will provide the most stable performance
  27.         on these systems.
  28.     Missing DLL file:  Most likely, you did not install DirectX onto your system.
  29.         This demo requires DirectX version 5 or later.  If you do not have, or
  30.         are unsure if you have the latest version of DirectX, please run DXSETUP.EXE
  31.         from the DIRECTX5 directory on the CD.
