In spite of your recent successes the defense of Lanios III has been progressing very poorly. The Planetary Forces are unable to locate the origin of the Aliens' supplies and reinforcements. They have detected no intraplanetary transports making equipment drops and have found no enemy manufacturing facilities on the planet surface.
The Coris Manufacturing Centre's defensive grid was recently decimated and our mid-range scans show a large enemy force heading toward Coris. The survival of this Manufacturing Centre is essential if the defense force is to have any chance to repel the alien scourge.
You are needed to escort a convoy of Dyazon planetary transports from a safe drop site to the Manufacturing Centre. The shuttles are carrying Statonex Autocannon parts required for fortification of the embattled defense grid. Intelligence reports the presence of advance enemy scouts in the area - prevent them from interfering with delivery of the Autocannons.
After safe arrival of the transports at the manufacturing plant the Autocannons will be unloaded, assembled and deployed around the plant. Once the Autocannons are deployed patrol the area surrounding the plant. We know that the scouts will be followed by a larger attacking force. Eliminate all attacking units to protect the plant.
