  3. Desktop Paint 256 is a powerful super-VGA paint program. Desktop 
  4. Paint 256 will let you create and edit pictures stored as PCX, 
  5. GIF, TIFF and IFF/LBM files. It features a rich selection of 
  6. drawing and image manipulation tools, XMS and EMS support to work 
  7. on large images and a user friendly interface. Looking very much 
  8. like monochrome Desktop Paint in colour, it's a powerful 
  9. application which will be equally useful for picture collectors, 
  10. artists and desktop publishing users... it makes a quick and easy 
  11. to use editor for grey scale TIFF files, too. It supports 
  12. Paradise (and compatibles), Headland Video 7, Tseng Labs 4000 
  13. series cards, Trident cards which use 8900 series chips and ATI 
  14. VGA Wonder cards. Note that you must have one of these super-VGA 
  15. cards to use Desktop Paint 256... it does not run in the standard 
  16. 320 by 200 pixel "standard" VGA mode. Desktop Paint 256 requires 
  17. a Microsoft-compatible mouse.
