  1. AMI BIOS upgrade procedures 
  2.  
  3. 1.Download the new BIOS ROM file and upgrade utility - AMIFLASH.EXE, from our Web site or FTP site. 
  4. PS1. : Each BIOS file is compressed. 
  5. PS2. : Execute the file and the BIOS would de-compress itself. 
  6. 2.Turn your machine ON and boot into DOS mode without CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT. 
  7. 3.Execute AMIFLASH.EXE to de-compress the real upgrade utility - FLASH53A.COM, and then to execute FLASH53A.COM  under DOS prompt. 
  8. 4.Input the BIOS ROM file name, and then follow the instructions showing on the screen to complete the upgrade procedures. 
  9. 5.Reset the system and pre `Delete` key to enter CMOS setup screen. 
  10. 6.Select and load the Auto Configuration with Optimal Settings. 
  11. 7.Save and reset system.
