  1. Dropper v1.2

  4. Dropper is a small program which allows you to perform drag and drop
  5. to the Windows desktop. It is similar in many ways to the NeXT style
  6. "icon dock" programs around at the moment. Rather than requiring that
  7. drag and drop is performed to a strip along one side of the screen
  8. however, Dropper allows any part of the desktop to be used as a target.
  9. Dropper requires Windows 3.1.

  16. Turning off icon borders seems to be extremely buggy at the moment,
  17. it'll work on some machines, but dies with a protection violation on
  18. others.  I believe that this is another incarnation of the transparent
  19. window bug that's currently (one of the things) stopping me from getting
  20. an NT version of Dropper ready.  I've left the feature in, because
  21. several people requested it.  If you try it and have problems, I would
  22. be grateful if you could give me as much detail as you can so I can try
  23. to work out what's going on.  For that matter, if you try it
  24. successfully, I'd also be grateful for any information that you can pass
  25. on...

  38.   was responsible for cooking up the group file format should be hung,
  39.   drawn and quartered; the little pieces should then be incinerated,
  40.   ground to a paste and buried down a mineshaft which is then filled
  41.   in with concrete and placed under permenant armed guard).
