There are two candidates for a HTTP server on XT class machines:
1. A version of KA9Q called JNOS. See this URL
http://ftp.econ.pitt.edu/pub/jnos/www/
KA9Q is free for personal use only. I have not tried it and can't
comment on it but I've heard it works quite well.
2. A creation of Jake Stevens and Erick Engelke called HTTPDDOS. See
this URL
http://dark.uwaterloo.ca/httpd.dos/
You will also need LAN Workplace for DOS 4.2. You can get it from Novell
ftp sites, e.g. www.novell.com, ftp.novell.com. You need
tcp16.exe
You will also need lsl.com, net.cfg and an ODI NIC driver for the card
you have. You should edit net.cfg and fill in the name of your card
driver plus any other details needed. I found them in
vlmupd4.exe
but I'm told that file isn't kept at the Novell site anymore.
It does work, I have tried it. You need to be licensed for LWP 4.2.
