  16. Step  1. Reboot your system and enter Windows NT 4.0 (VGA) from the Boot Manager.

  18. Step  2. Launch Windows NT. From your Windows NT wallpaper area,press your
  19.          mouse right buttin then select the "Properties".

  21. Step  3. From "Display Properties", select Settings.
  22.  
  23. Step  4. Click Display Type.

  25. Step  5. Click Change...  .

  27. Step  6. Click Have Disk...  .

  48. 2.  Windows 95 Driver Installation
  49. =================================

  51. 2.0 Install the Windows 95 with WinFast 3D S320 board in the PC
  52.  
  53.     In order to use all of the AGP features,you must usr OSR 2.1 or later
  54.     operating system.
  55.  
  56.     Install Windows 95 OSR2.0 in the usual way. When installation has
  57.     completed, then upgrade to OSR 2.1 with a USB upgrade .
  58.     Windows 95 should be booted on the VGA. Follow the
  59.     section 2.1 "Fitting WinFast 3D S320 board with Windows 95 already
  60.     installed" to install the drivers of WinFast 3D S320.
  61.  
  62. 2.1 Fitting WinFast 3D S320 board with Windows 95 already installed
  63.  
  64.     During the booting of Windows 95 OSR 2.1,the "Update Device Wizard"
  65.     window will appear on the screen.Please follow the list steps below
  66.     to install "Standard PCI Graphics Adapter (VGA)" driver.

  68.     Step 1   Click "Next" to let Windows 95 search for "Standard PCI
  69.              Graphics Adapter (VGA)" driver   
  70.     Step 2   Click "Finish" to install the VGA driver
  71.     Step 3   When installation has completed,Windows 95 will prompt you to
  72.              restart your system.Click "No" and follow "2.2 Updating existing
  73.              WinFast 3D S320 Windows 95 Driver" to install WinFast 3D S320
  74.              Windows 95 driver.

  76. 2.2 Updating existing WinFast 3D S320 Windows 95 drivers

  78.     Step 1   Insert the "Windows 95 Driver" diskette into floppy drive A: .
  79.     Step 2   Press the right button of mouse in the Windows 95 wallpaper area.
  80.     Step 3   Select the "Properties" item, a window titled "Display
  81.              Properties" will appear.
  82.     Step 4   Choose the "Settings" tab in the "Display Properties" window.
  83.     Step 5   Select the "Change Display Type" button, a window titled
  84.              "Change Display Type" will appear.
  85.     Step 6   Select the "Change" button in the "Adapter Type" section,
  86.              a window titled "Select Device" will appear.
  87.     Step 7   Select the "Have Disk" button, a window titled
  88.              "Install from Disk" will appear.
  89.     Step 8   Specify the path A: and select the "OK" button in the
  90.              "Install from Disk" window.
  91.     Step 9   Select the "OK" button in the "Select Device" window.
  92.     Step 10  After all new drivers are installed, select the "Close" button
  93.              in the "Change Display Type" window.
  94.     Step 11  Select the "Apply" or "Close" button in the "Display Properties"
  95.              window.
  96.     Step 12  A windows will appear to ask you to restart Windows 95 now.
  97.              Restart the Windows 95 now to use the new drivers.

  99. 2.3 Installing VgartD
  100.  
  101.     AGP support is provided in DirectX 5/6.  DirectX 5/6 uses new AGP memory
  102.     management services.  These services provide support for working with AGP
  103.     memory.  Starting with Beta-2 (build 129) DirectX 5/6 AGP support is
  104.     compatible with Windows 98 and OSR2.1 with the VgartD VxD.
  105.  
  106.     VgartD is a static VxD that includes support for the new AGP memory
  107.     management services.  If it is running on OSR2.1 the VxD patches the VMM
  108.     service table to direct the VMM service addresses to point to VgartD
  109.     services.  After the VMM service table is patched OSR2.1 supports the AGP
  110.     services that DirectX 5/6 requires for AGP.

  112.     Vgartd installation depends on the chipsets of the main board. To install
  113.     Vgartd,follow the installation procedures stated in the packing disk of
  114.     the mainboard.
  115.  
  116. In any case if the VxD is installed on Windows 98 (or any OS other than OSR2.1)
  117. it will not patch the OS - it will silently do nothing.

  130.   Note : Please obtain the BIOS binary file from WEB site or from your local
  131.          dealer.

  133. Step 1. Reboot into DOS or Command Prompt only of Windows 95
  134. Step 2. Insert the "Window NT 4.0 Driver" diskette into floppy drive A: .
  135. Step 3. Copy DOS4GW.EXE, NV4FLASH.EXE to a new directory from
  136.         A:\FLASH sub-directory .
  137. Step 4. Copy the new BIOS binary file to the new directory
  138. Step 5. Change to the new directory and type the following command :
  139.         FLASH [Filename]
  140.         Note : Filename represents the file name of BIOS binary code.
