Larax Wall Street Simulator for Windows v1.1 <ASP>
Thank you for your interest in Wall Street Simulator. We believe that
you will find this product one of the most important training tools
for mastering the markets. If you are a beginner to the market, you
will experience the realism of trading through a broker. If you are
an experienced trader, you will be able to experiment with different
trading schemes without placing any of your hard-earned money at risk.
INSTALLATION
To install your unregistered version of Wall Street Simulator, follow these
steps:
1. Start Microsoft Windows
2. From the File Manager, locate "SETUP.EXE".
3. Execute "SETUP.EXE" by Double-clicking on it.
The following file must be located in the \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory:
VBRUN300.DLL
This file has NOT been supplied with Wall Street Simulator. If you do not
have this file, you can download it from the WINSHARE forum - Library 1 - on
CompuServe (Filename is VBRUN3.ZIP). It is also located in the Windows
forum of America Online (usually under "Top Picks"). If you do not have access
to CompuServe either of these on-line services, you can drop a quick note to
Larax Software at any of the addresses above and a copy of it will be sent to
you.
RUNNING THE PROGRAM
The installation process will set up a program group entitled "Wall
Street Simulator". Icons for the Wall Street Simulator program, help
file, and ReadMe.1st file will be setup.
You can also locate the file WALLSTRT.EXE from the File Manager and
double-click it. Refer to your Windows Manual for additional information
on executing programs.
Once you have started Wall Street Simulator, select CONTENTS from the HELP
menu to view the on-line help file. Be sure to select QUICK START for an
overview of Wall Street Simulator.
FINALLY
Enjoy the program and please remember, if you like Wall Street
Simulator and plan to use it, please register it. The registration fee
is $15 (plus $2 S&H). Registration brings a registered copy of the
Simulator, a printed manual, discounts on future upgrades, discounts on
companion "Wall Street" products, and a semi-annual newsletter comparing
investment results and ideas.
You can register Wall Street Simulator by using CompuServe's Shareware
Registration facility (GO SWREG ; Registration ID # 2838). The registration
fee will be charged directly to your CompuServe account. Or, you can
register by sending a check or money order to the address above. In either
case, your registered copy of Wall Street Simulator will be sent to you
immediately.
