  1. This is a year 2000 package that contains the updates
  2. require to OS/2 TCP/IP to make it year 2000 compliant.
  3. The applications that required changes for Year 2000
  4. compliance are:
  5.  
  6. FTP Server, NewsReader/2, Syslogd (part of TCPUNX.DLL),
  7. and Tcpcoex.exe.
  8.  
  9. NOTE:  Before replacing the current versions of the executables/dlls
  10.         provided in this package, please verify that the dates are
  11.         later than the versions on your system.  If they are not, then the
  12.         version you have should already contain the Year 2000 updates
  13.         because the fixes are cumulative, in which case you should NOT
  14.         replace the versions on your system.

  16. The file v40y2k.exe is a self extracting zip file that contains
  17. all of the changed files.  To unzip in the current directory, type
  18.  
  19. v40y2k .

  23. Apar IC19683 and Apar IC21102 change the FTPD component of TCP/IP v4.0 to
  24. be Year 2000 compliant.

  30. ftpdc.exe

  35. be Year 2000 compliant.
