  2.            *** DC-390U/W/F/U2 Windows 98 Driver Installation ***

  5.  Windows 98 now will detect Tekram DC-390U/F PCI SCSI Cards, and prompt you
  6.  "Need update driver from Tekram" during installation the Windows
  7.  98 system. But the Windows 98 will not install DC-390U/F device driver for
  8.  you.
  9.  
  10.  So, you need to install the DC-390U/F device driver manually.
  11.  
  12.  To install the Tekram DC-390U/F driver follow these steps:
  13.  
  14.  1) Open the Control Panel and double-click the System Icon.
  15.  2) Click the Device Manager Tab and double-click "SCSI Controllers".
  16.  3) Select "Tekram DC-390U/F SCSI" and click "Properties".
  17.  4) Click the Driver Tab and choose "Update Driver".
  18.  5) Select "Display a list of all the drivers in specific location,
  19.     so you can select the driver you "
  20.  6) Click "Have Disk" and insert the DC-390U/W/F Driver Disk.
  21.  7) Type in the path:    A:\WIN95_98
  22.  8) Select "Tekram DC-390U/F PCI SCSI" and click "OK" to install the driver.
  23.  9) Windows 98 will display Warnning message as below.
  24.     "Update Driver Warnning,The Driver that you have chose was not
  25.     written specifically for the select hardware and may not work correctly.
  26.     Installing this driver is not recommended. Are you sure you want to use
  27.     this driver?"
  28. 10) Select "Yes" to update driver.
  29. 11) Click "Finish" to reboot system.
