  11.     For Novell Netware 3.11, user had better to use SiS IDE Netware 3.11
  12.     Driver first to install the Novell Netware Operation System to avoid
  13.     losing Netware volume information.
  14.  
  15.     Below is the installation procedure :

  17.     1. Follow all Netware 3.11 installtion procedure before
  18.        execute ' Type "SERVER" <Enter> ' description.
  19.  
  20.     2. Insert the NETWARE 386 OPERATING SYSTEM-1 diskette into the floppy
  21.        diskette drive of the file server.
  22.        Type
  23.             SERVER  <Enter>
  24.  
  25.        Ignore the message on the screen and enter any name for the server
  26.        name. This is a temporary name to get you into the INSTALL utility.
  27.  
  28.        Enter any number for the internal network number.
  29.        Again, this is a temporary number.
  30.  
  31.     3. Type
  32.             LOAD A:/NETWARE/NW311/SISIDE.DSK <Enter>
  33.             (Assume the SiS IDE Drivers diskette is put into floppy A:)
  34.                            or
  35.             LOAD D:/IDE/NETWARE/NW311/SISIDE.DSK <Enter> 
  36.             (Assume the SiS IDE Drivers diskette is put into CD-ROM drive D:)

  38.        INSTEAD OF

  40.         (X) LOAD ISADISK <Enter>

  43.     4. Other steps follow the Netware 3.11 installtion rest procedures.

  45. *********** (2) SiS IDE Netware 3.12 Driver installation ***************

  49.     For Novell Netware 3.12, user had better to use SiS IDE Netware 3.12
  50.     Driver first to install the Novell Netware Operation System to avoid
  51.     losing Netware volume information.

  53.     The installation procedure is similar to above except step 3 :

  55.             LOAD A:/NETWARE/NW312/SISIDE.DSK <Enter>
  56.             (Assume the SiS IDE Drivers diskette is put into floppy A:)

  59.             (Assume the SiS IDE Drivers diskette is put into CD-ROM drive D:)

  64.     * Use SiS IDE Device Driver Install Utility to install
  65.       " SiS IDE Netware 4.1 Driver."

  67.     1.Execute "install.exe" file in the SiS Driver diskette.

  69.     2.Choose  "Install Driver"
  70.               "Install Netware 4.1 IDE Device Driver"

  74.     1. SISIDE.DSK Support Netware 4.1 & 3.12 Hard disk & ASPI interface

  76.     2. SISIDED.DSK support netware 3.11. (Without CD-ROM).

  78.     3. By editing c:/server/startup.ncf file, you can force the default DMA
  79.        master mode into PIO mode by using /d0, and /d1 command.

  81.            load siside.dsk /d0 /d1 int=E port=1f0
  82.                 ==> Force Channel 0 into PIO mode.

  85.                 ==> Force channel 1 into PIO mode.

  102.     4) If you install two channel netware driver, please install as
  103.        follows:

  105.        LOAD SISIDE.DSK INT=E PORT=IF0
  106.        LOAD SISIDE.DSK /d0 /d1 INT=F PORT=170

  108.     5) If you want to mount the CD-ROM as one of your volumes, Novell
  109.        lab. recommends user to use the HD & CD-ROM in different Channel.
  110.        For example on Netware 4.1:

  112.        LOAD SISIDE.DSK INT=E PORT=1F0  (Using channel 0 for HDs)
  113.        LOAD SISIDE.DSK INT=F PORT=170  (using channel 1 for CD-ROM)
  114.        LOAD ASPICD
  115.        LOAD C:CDROM
  116.        CD DEVICE LIST ; (There will show a CD-ROM device # on the screen)
  117.        CD MOUNT #     ; (# is the device number of the CD-ROM)
