About the file :
This readme file contains Flash ROM installation procedures when
you need to update the BIOS. You have one of the following ways
to get the BIOS for your system.
. update diskette from your dealer or retail store
. update files from manufacture's BBS No:(reserved)
. update files from manufacture's Internet Addr:www.iwill.com.tw

About the model of motherboard :
Before your system has been updated BIOS, you must make sure the
motherbaord was updated with its correct BIOS.ex:
Model:P55TV Filename: TVmmdd.BIN
Model:P55TV Lite Filename: TVLmmdd.BIN
Model:P55AV Filename: AVmmdd.BIN
Model:P55AVW Filename: AVWmmdd.BIN
Model:P55A2 Filename: A2mmdd.BIN
(Note:mmdd means month and date)
How to update the BIOS :
1. Check if you need to update the BIOS - turn on your computer and you
will see the following message shown on the screen.

P55TV (mmm.dd.1997)
P55TV Lite (mmm.dd.1997)
P55AV (mmm.dd.1997)
P55AVW (mmm.dd.1997)
P55A2 (mmm.dd.1997)
Compare the date shown in the above message with the new
BIOS files DNSmmdd.BIN you have. The DNSmmdd.BIN should be a new
one. The new BIOS file should be located in the same directory
with this readme file and the Flash Program AWDFLASH.EXE
2. Turn on your computer and enter the DOS prompt. Please note that
you can not use any protect mode application or driver (such as
EMM386, QEMM386) when updating BIOS. Comment out those command in
the AUTOEXEC.BAT or CONFIG.SYS file and reboot your system again.
If you are using MS-DOS 6.0 or later, you can do this by press [F5]
function key while the "Staring MS-DOS..." line is on the screen.
The MS-DOS will skip your CONFIG.SYS and
and AUTOEXEC.BAT files. The AWDFLASH.EXE file can not work under
protected mode.
If you are using Windows 95 or later, you can do this by press
[Shift]+ [F5] function key while the "Staring Windows..." line is on
the screen. The Windows 95 will start Command Prompt Only.
3. Insert DNSmmdd.BIN diskette into drive A or B and type :
A:\AWDFLASH /c or B:\AWDFLASH /c
A:\AWDFLASH DNSmmdd.bin /c or B:\AWDFLASH DNSmmdd.bin /c
the Falsh Memory Write Utility will ask for the filename of the
new BIOS. Enter "DNSmmdd.BIN" and press [Enter] key. The utility
will ask you to save the OLD ROM BIOS code in the
diskette when the utility give a message "Do You Want To Save BIOS
(Y/N)" and press [Y]. The file is a backup of your
original BIOS from the motherboard. The next message will ask
"Are you sure to program(Y/N)". If you press the [Y] key. The utility
will load the new code into Falsh ROM.
The new utility parameter /c means clear CMOS during BIOS has been
flashed.
4. When completed loading the new BIOS, you must power off or reboot the
system, and enter the CMOS Setup Utility before going any
further by pressing [DEL] key. In the Setup Utility, choose "LOAD
SETUP DEFAULTS" option and respond "Y(es)" to load the hardware
default value for proper initialization. If you have not LOAD SETUP
DEFAULTS. The mothboard's CMOS value was still the old BIOS.

1. The TV0626.BIN support 1.2x PCB Version of P55TV motherboard.
TVL0626.BIN support 1.2x PCB Version of P55TV Lite motherboard.
AV0626.BIN support All PCB Version of P55AV motherboard.
AVW0626.BIN support All PCB Version of P55AVW motherboard.
A20626.BIN support All PCB Version of P55A2 motherboard.
2. These BIOSes engineering change:
a.) Support Cyrix M2 Processor Detected by BIOS.
b.) Support LS-120/ Zip Drive Bootable Function.
c.) Add Iwill Logo during system bootup.
d.) Add Version on the BIOS Title Bar.
