  4.           The giant jumped up. "At last, the spell is broken!" he roared. 
  5.      "You're the first one ever to get me together. The others all died of 
  6.      fright long before this! Now follow me." 
  7.           The boy followed him to the doorway. The giant said, "You first." 
  8.           "After YOU," said the boy. 
  9.           The giant led him to the courtyard and pointed under a tree. "Dig 
  10.      there!" he said. 
  11.           "YOU dig there!" said the boy. 
  12.           The giant dug till he uncovered three pots of gold. "Carry them 
  13.      inside!" said the giant. 
  14.           "YOU carry them inside!" said the boy. 
  15.           The giant carried the three pots of gold into the great hall. He 
  16.      said, "One is for the King, one is for the poor, and one is for you." 
  17.           Then he fell again into pieces and flew up the chimney--first the 
  18.      head, then the arms and legs, then the giant body. 
  19.           The boy sighed. "It's nice to be rich, but when will I ever get 
  20.      the willies?" 
  21.           He curled up in his chair before the fire and went to sleep.
