  2.        This BIOS is for P54CI-PCI X motherboard w/Adaptec 7850 driver.

  4.              **  AMIFLASH PnP BIOS UPDATE PROCEDURE  **
  5.  
  6.       Run S0512X.EXE under DOS..
  7.  
  8.       Step-1  Rename S0512X.ROM to "SUPMICRO.ROM".
  9.  
  10.       Step-2  Copy "SUPMICRO.ROM" to a floppy disk.
  11.  
  12.       Step-3  Power off. Make sure SUPMICRO.ROM file is in the A: disk.
  13.  
  14.       Step-4  Make sure JP27 on 1-2. SUPMICRO.ROM file size is 131072.
  15.  
  16.       Step-5  Power on the system with [CTRL]+[HOME] pressed.
  17.  
  18.       Step-6  After the floppy begins to read the disk, release [CTRL]+[HOME].
  19.  
  20.       Step-7  The system will automatically re-boot after updating the BIOS.
  21.  
  22.       Step-8  Load the BIOS 'Optimal Default' setting.
