  9.          END-USER SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT

  12. License: Digital Equipment Corporation grants you the right to use the
  13.   accompanying Software under the conditions specified in this
  14.   Agreement.  You will not use, copy, modify, rent, sell or transfer
  15.   the Software or any portion thereof except as provided in this
  16.   Agreement.

  19. You May: 1. Use the Software on those DECpc and DECstation systems for
  20.   which it is explicitly licensed above.  2.  Copy the Software into
  21.   any machine readable form for backup or archival purposes in support
  22.   of your use of the Software on DECpc and DECstation systems.  3.
  23.   Transfer the software and license Agreement to another party if the
  24.   other party agrees to accept the terms and conditions of the
  25.   Agreement.  If you transfer the Software, you must at the same time
  26.   transfer all copies of the same and accompanying documentation, or
  27.   destroy any copies not transferred; 4. Use the Software on a
  28.   multiuser or network system provided that the Software is used only
  29.   on DECpc and DECstation systems for which the software is explictly
  30.   licensed above.

  32. You Will Not: 1. Sublicense the Software; 2. Use the software on PCs
  33.   other than those for which it is explicitly licensed above.  3.
  34.   Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software; 4. Copy or
  35.   Transfer the Software in Whole or in Part, Except as Expressly
  36.   Provided for in this Agreement.

  38. Ownership and Copyright of Software: Title to the Software and all
  39.   copies thereof remains with Digital or its suppliers.  The Software
  40.   and documentation is copyrighted and is protected by the United
  41.   States copyright laws and international treaty provisions.  You will
  42.   not remove the copyright notice from the Software.  You will
  43.   reproduce the copyright notice on any copy or portion of the
  44.   Software.  You agree to prevent any unauthorized copying of the
  45.   Software and documentation.

  47. Disclaimer: The Software is provided "As Is" without warranty of any
  48.   kind.

  50. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: THIS SOFTWARE COMES WITH NO WARRANTIES OF ANY
  51.   KIND EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF
  52.   MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.  NEITHER
  53.   DIGITAL OR ITS VENDORS SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS
  54.   OF USE, INTERRUPTION OF BUSINESS, NOR FOR INDIRECT SPECIAL
  55.   INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND WHETHER UNDER THIS
  56.   AGREEMENT OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF DIGITAL HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE
  57.   POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY CLAIM BY ANY OTHER PARTY.
  58.   SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY
  59.   FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR
  60.   EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

  62. Termination of this License: Digital Equipment Corporation may
  63.   terminate this license at any time if you are in breach of any of
  64.   its terms and conditions.  Upon termination, you will immediately
  65.   destroy the Software or return all copies of the Software and
  66.   documentation to Digital Equipment Corporation along with any copies
  67.   you have made.

  69. U.S. Government Restricted Rights: The Software and documentation are
  70.   provided with "Restricted Rights."  Use, duplication or disclosure
  71.   by the Government is subject to restrictions as set forth in
  72.   subparagraph (c)(1)(ii) of The Rights in Technical Data and Computer
  73.   Software clause at DFARS 252.227-7013 or subparagraphs (c)(1) and
  74.   (2) of the Commercial Computer Software-- Restricted Rights at 48
  75.   CFR 52.227-19, as applicable.  Contractor/manufacturer is Digital
  76.   Equipment Corporation.

  78. Applicable Law: This agreement is governed by the laws of the state of
  79.   Massachusetts and the United States, including patent and copyright
  80.   laws.

  82. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ THIS AGREEMENT, UNDERSTAND IT AND
  83.   AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ITS TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
