  2.     Installation instructions:

  4.     This assumes that your system is Windows 3.1 and that the Hawkeye
  5.     feautres have already been installed to the NUMBER9 subdirectory
  6.     from which Windows is running.

  8.     -  From this diskette copy BRDSYNC.DLL to the NUMBER9 subdirectory.

  10.     -  From this diskette copy 9RESET.EXE to the Windows directory.

  12.     -  From the DOS prompt (Windows _not_ running) type

  14.                       9RESET /1600. 
  15.  
  16.        This will create a new configuration file that has the proposed 
  17.        VESA specs for 1600 x 1200, 85 Hz refresh and set the board's 
  18.        default mode to be 1600.
  19.  
  20.      - Start Windows.  From the Hawkeye control panel chose the Monitor
  21.        Sync utility.  85 Hz should be seen in the pull down refresh rate
  22.        menu.
