  7. Let me first apologize for the long delay but I was rather busy with the 
  8. OOPSLA conference in New Orleans, the Systems show in Munich and with some
  9. preparations for my masters thesis.
  10.  
  11. I have good and bad news for you. The good one is that I have included this disk
  12. with all XProlog stuff (including sources) that I found on my harddisk.
  13.  
  14. The bad one is that I have discontinued my work on XProlog long ago. Thus
  15. I will not update XProlog and cannot support someone else in doing so.
  16. The version you find enclosed has certainly lots of minor bugs which need
  17. to be fixed. However, the bug you describe has never been a real bug. It was
  18. originated by a Kermit transmission error. I resent that version as soon as
  19. I noticed the error but obviously none cared. During the last two years 
  20. I got dozens of error reports like yours. It seems to me that some BITNET
  21. fileserver still keep that garbled version. Thus you would do me a BIG
  22. favour if you distribute XProlog as it is, especially to the person who gave
  23. you the garbled version. XProlog is now totaly free and may be copied free with 
  24. all sources for whatever purpose.

  26. The sources are in awful condition and partialy commented in German.
  27. You need a Mark Williams C or equivalent compiler.
