  4. About the scheme
  5. ----------------
  6. Joe Connor started a Supported Shareware scheme in 1993 to encourage
  7. authors of German/French etc software to produce and support English
  8. language versions of their software AND to encourage UK users to register
  9. their software. With over 850 UK registered users the scheme has been
  10. expanded and re-launched as InterActive. The proven benefits of local
  11. support includes:

  13. - Key to remove features reserved for registered users available
  14. - Local telephone, post and Email support
  15. - Free update service
  16. - No hassle handling foreign currency
  17. - Labelled Master disk and registration letter
  18. - ST-Guide on-line hypertext help (some software)
  19. - Other software (dependent on disk space)
  20.  
  21. The registration fees are set to cover the currency handling, stationary,
  22. media and postage costs incurred in mailing out master disks and
  23. providing comprehensive support.
  24. Although originally a UK support scheme everyone is welcome to register
  25. via InterActive as an alternative to registering directly with the
  26. author/s.

  61. How to register inside the UK
  62. -----------------------------
  63. 1)  Calculate the total amount for the software you wish to register
  64. 2)  Make a cheque payable to InterActive for the required amount
  65. 3)  Be sure your name and address is included and *legible*!
  66. 4)  Send cheque to the address below

  80. Add £1 to your order total to cover postage and send:

  88. New releases are highlighted each month in the Shareware column of ST
  89. Applications and often featured in the Shareware pages of Atari World.

  94. To receive an update send a self addressed envelope including return
  95. postage and an unlabelled unformatted double sided floppy disk. Please

  126. because minor updates to the English language version are sometimes made
