  1. I don't know about you, but I find that the fades available 
  2. through STOS are a bit boring so I sat down this evening and 
  3. coded some of my own, so far I have done:
  4.  
  5.      A BLIND fade, that simply fades in the screen like a blind
  6.      being closed, if you see what I mean.
  7.  
  8.      A VERTICAL SLIDE fade which scrolls a thin strip of screen 
  9.      down the display.
  10.  
  11.      BLOCK SLIDE is similar to vertical slide, except that it 
  12.      slides down rectangular section of the stored picture on the 
  13.      physical screen.
  14.  
  15. These simple fades can be used to bring your games to life (Crap 
  16. !!), use them to fade between highscore tables and menu screens, 
  17. etc,etc....

  21. The is also a ZOOM1.BAS source code which is the same as 
  22. ZOOM.BAS, but has a starfield and raters and looks so brilliant.
