     Howdy fellow DOOMers! I am forming a DOOM club here at the
University of Montana and a new member is having a problem with his Zoom
100 modem. We were able to hack out his init string yesterday and were
able to play for ten minutes before he had to go. Today the damned thing
wont play correctly. We connect great and everything, but we lock up 30
seconds into the game. We are using ser4 and the bnud device drivers and
they both don't allow us to play without locking up. We have tried
connecting at different speeds and that doesn't work.
      His init string is: AT &Q6 S37=11 N0 &K0

      If anyone out there has a Zoom 100 14400 modem and has a init
string that works, please email me. Let me know what your init string is,
what device driver you use and the version of DOOM it works in, such as
1.2 or 1.4 - 1.5.....
