  1. Here is an icon I created for Doom
  2.  
  3. Copy DOOM.ICO into your doom directory (i.e. C:\DOOM)
  4. Run Windows
  5. Click ONCE on your current Doom icon in Program Manager
  6. Press ALT-ENTER (or Select [F]ile, [P]roperties)
  7. Clck on Change Icon (or Press ALT-I)
  8. At File Name, type in C:\DOOM\DOOM.ICO (if C:\DOOM is your doom directory)
  9.                       ^^^^^^^------------------replace with your directory name---
  10. Click on OK twice.

  12. The icon should appear.
