  1.                   WELCOME To WAD Hacker Version 1.0

  4. WAD Hacker is a DOOM WAD file resource viewer. This is a Windows 3.1 based
  5. application. To install WAD Hacker run the SETUP program. This will set
  6. up all necessary files to run WAD Hacker. Make sure and install the program
  7. into the default directory used by the SETUP program. If a different directory
  8. is chosen the program will not work proporly. I did not put in .INI file
  9. support for this version so the paths for some of the needed files are     
  10. hard coded to be in the c:\wadhak directory.

  12. Highlights : Version 1.0

  14.     Allows viewing of all graphical resources.
  15.     Windows bitmap file can be generated for all graphics.
  16.     PWAD files can be produced from any level.
  17.     Windows help file support.
  18.     Viewing of items for al levels.

  20. I will be adding editing capabilities in future releases. I relize there are
  21. many editors out which are much better than this one. I wrote this to learn
  22. Visual Basic and I would like to hear any comments about the program. Send E-Mail
