  1. Well, everyone keeps u/ling dumb .deh files, so I decided to upload a cool one.
  2. This one will speed up the shotgun, chaingun, and handgun proportionately, i
  3. souble your ammo max, and double the # of shells/bullets you get from all 
  4. shell & bullet bearing items.

  6. Warning:  The chaingun is so fast, it will fire ALL of your shots (400) in less 
  7. than 30 seconds, so use it sparingly. It's good for when you're surrounded and 
  8. need something to kill a lot in a hurry, but most of the time it's just a 
  9. waste of ammo.

  11. All things considered, these changes balance out and make doom a little less 
  12. stressful without completely stacking the deck for the player (unlike the Super 
  13. Shotgun..) Ayone who, like me, isn't quite a doom master, and wants a little 
  14. edge, get it.

  16. Note: This file can NOT be used in any multi player game unless all of your 
  17. oponents are using it as well.  Sorry, no cheating.

  19. To install the new weapons, copy *.deh, Dehacked.exe, and fastgun.bat to your
  20. DOOM directory.  It might be a good idea to backup your doom.exe...  DeHackEd 
  21. is a rather yound program, and might not function properly for you.  then, to
  22. install, just type :

  24.         >fastgun in
  25.  
  26. and then run doom.  To uninstall, type:
  27.  
  28.         >Fastgun out

  30. So that those of you who don't already can start to play with DeHackEd yourself,
  31. I've included it's docs as well as the .exe.  However, the real DeHackEd .zip 
  32. file (DHAKED13.ZIP) also contains several other files, including text files
  33. about fun things to do in DeHackEd and example .deh files, so if you enjoy it,
  34. get the original .zip at:
