The NetportExpress(TM) Print Server family allows you to take control of your network printing by providing high performance, multi-NOS printing with simple installation and configuration. Both of the NetportExpress print servers (EL and XL) include a centralized management utility, Windows* NP Manager and Flash Memory for simple, reliable network updates as new features are provided. The EL supports two printers simultaneously in a NetWare* environment with two high-speed, bi-directional parallel ports over Ethernet (Thin and UTP) or Token Ring (STP/UTP and 4/16 Mbps). The XL adds multi-protocol support (NetWare, Windows NT*, AppleTalk* and various versions of UNIX*), even higher performance, and adds a serial port to simultaneously support up to three printers.
