WinMacro is a 16 bit Windows application supplied with WinBatch becuase of
its incredible usefulness as a macro recorder.
WinMacro has a two roles.
1) A keystroke recorder.
Keystroke recording works in both Windows 95 and Windows NT
WinMacro records keystrokes to a file that may be pasted into a
WinBatch script. It uses WinBatch SendKey statements. A lot
of people like to record some keystrokes, and use that as the
basis for a more complicated script.

Windows NT Keystroke recording functional
2) Program Launcher / Hot Key processor.
WinMacro was designed to hang menus on the system (Alt-Spacebar)
menu of any application. These menus can be selected via the
system menu with mouse or keyboard, or via a hotkey defined for
the menu item. When a menu item is selected, a program - usually
a WinBatch script - is launched.
Windows 95 Menu attachment functional
HotKey processing functional
If you do not need hot-keys, we suggest using the PopMenu
supplied with WinBatch 95 instead.
Windows NT Menu attaches ONLY to 16 bit applications
HotKey processing not functional
WinMacro can basically be used as a keystroke recorder.
