  19. This program is supplied with no guarantees of any kind
  20. and must be used at your own risk.
  21. This program is a shareware, which means that you can use
  22. it for 21 days, and if you still want to use
  23. it, you should either register or remove it from your
  24. computer.
  25. You may not re-sell (unless authorised) or reverse-engineer
  26. this software.  The author reserves himself any rights that
  27. are not stated in this document.  Provided that you are distributing
  28. the shareware version you can make as many copies of the 
  29. Shareware version of this software as you want, copy it and give
  30. it unmodified to anyone.

  46. 3) How to register
  47. You can pay on-line (http://members.aol.com/sobstel) via the
  48. secure order form, on Compuserve (go to SWREG forum - reg ID 11920)
  49. or use the supplied REGISTER program if you wish to pay via credit
  50. card/cheque/cash.  You can email/fax/post the registration forms.

  52. The registration procedure:
  53. After you register the software, you will be contacted via
  54. email within 7 days with the registration information - usually 1-2
  55. days.If you don't receive it within 7 days, please contact 
  56. danny@chiomara.demon.co.uk.  If you are sending payment via
  57. standard post, please allow more time (post delay, cheque wait )
  58. for your registration to be processed.

  60. If you don't have email address to receive the registration
  61. details, you may wish to fill in a postal/shipment fee in the
  62. register program and then you will receive full set of installation
  63. disks via standard post.

  66. 4) Release note
  67. The aim of the application is to cover all the system
  68. set-up/customization features that are either hidden or not
  69. directly avaliable to the user. Set Me Up is an advanced
  70. configuration tool - improper use can damage your system set-up or
  71. maybe stop your PC from working.
  72. When not sure about a particlar function,
  73. click on the ? on the left-top of the window and then select the
  74. feature on the screen you are not sure about.

  76. 5) Using the Set Me Up Agent
  77. The most useful feature of the Agent is the ability to save your
  78. system configuration on Start-Up.  If you unexpectedly corrupt
  79. your system set-up, use the SMU Agent backup to restore it.
  80. All the system configuration files are copied to the respective
  81. sub-directories in c:\SMUsafe
  82.  
  83. When the Agent loads, it waits for 3 seconds for you to cancel
  84. and then it will overwrite it's last backup.  The files are
  85. overwritten during every next system save, but any previous backup
  86. is not fully deleted - so you can restore files that were changed
  87. as well as files accidentaly deleted
  88.  
  89. Remember - if you wish to restore any part of your system
  90. configuration backup you need to either boot to plain DOS or do not
  91. let the Agent overwrite it's own last backup by pressing ESC jus as
  92. it loads.

  95. 6) Licenses
  96. A single user license entitles you to install the registered
  97. Software on one workstation only
  98. A site license entitles you to install the software on unlimited
  99. number of workstation in the radius of 160km within the same
  100. organization
  101. A word license entitles you to install the software
  102. on unlimited number 
  103. of workstations within the same organization

  106. The site licence costs as much as 20 single licenses, and the world
  107. license as much as 30 single licenses
