  1. The programs on this CD-ROM are shareware and should be registered if
  2. you use them for more than a trial period. By registering you support
  3. the software developers and will ensure the continous release of
  4. shareware. So please pay for the programs that you use. Otherwise the
  5. authors may stop writing them and that would make the world a more
  6. boring place to live.

  8. The software on this CD-ROM are all shareware, the limitations on use
  9. for these programs can wary. Please look up the zipped archive or
  10. directory with the program for further information.

  12. MediaProducts has gone to extremes in ensuring that all the material
  13. on this CD-ROM is free to be distributed under the SHAREWARE / PUBLIC
  14. DOMAIN concept. However, due to the magnitude of programs on this
  15. CD-ROM, MediaProducts cannot be held responsible for any file which
  16. contains material, that is copyrighted and not supposed to be
  17. distributed under the conditions of shareware, freeware, public domain
  18. or any other form of free distributable software. If you discover such
  19. material please contact your supplier, or MediaProducts with
  20. information about, on which CD-ROM you have found the material, the
  21. name, date and size of the file(s), then the offending file(s) will be
  22. removed on the next production (pressing) of the disc, and from the
  23. software archives at MediaProducts.

  25. To uncompress the programs on this CD-ROM, we suggest you use SHEZ or
  26. Zip Master which are very easy to use. If you prefer to work under
  27. windows, we have supplied Zip Master for Windows. To start Zip Master
  28. (WIN) please run RUNWINZM.BAT from the \START directory of the CD-ROM.
  29. Also we have installed Zip Master for DOS, to start Zip Master please
  30. run RUNZIPM.BAT from the \START directory of the CD-ROM.

  32. All the software on this CD-ROM is installed in the \START
  33. subdirectories.

  35. These very good programs has been installed for your convenience;

  37. PKUNZIP is in the \START\INSTALL\PKZIP204 directory. ARJ is in the
  38. \START\INSTALL\ARJ241 directory UNARJ is in the
  39. \START\INSTALL\ARJ241\UNARJ directory SCAN is in the
  40. \START\INSTALL\MCAFEE\SCAN directory CLEAN is in the
  41. \START\INSTALL\MCAFEE\CLEAN dirctory SHEZ is in the
  42. \START\INSTALL\SHEZ directory VPIC is in the \START\INSTALL\VPIC61
  43. directory PVE is in the \START\INSTALL\VPVE252 directory UNIVBE is in
  44. the \START\INSTALL\UNIVBE50 directory

  46. These programs are allways the latest versions, and as such updated
  47. continously, please look up the directories for version information.

  49. If you want to install the basic products from this CD-ROM, you should
  50. choose the appropriate option in the menu system, or execute
  51. UNWARP.BAT from the \START subdirectory with the letter of the drive
  52. you want to have the CD-ROM essentials copied to (UNWARP C: or UNWARP
  53. D:).

  55. We have also added a few bonus programs to this CD-ROM, however they
  56. are not automatically installed together with the above products. Look
  57. in the \START\INSTALL directory and subdirectories to see whats there.

  59. We have installed a menu program to help you in viewing the images,
  60. and playing the games that we have supplied uncompressed on this
  61. CD-ROM. Start the menu program by typing START in the ROOT directory
  62. of your CD-ROM. Please note that you cannot expect all the games to
  63. work directly from the CD-ROM, due to the various configurations of
  64. equipment. If a program does not work directly from the CD-ROM please
  65. try to install a copy on your harddisk. If your video adapter does not
  66. support SVGA resolutions, you might encounter problems during the
  67. slide shows. If you encounter these problems you can view all the
  68. images via the two SHAREWARE viewers SVGA and VPIC supplied on this
  69. CD-ROM.

  71. Please note that even if these pictures are distributed under the
  72. SHAREWARE / PUBLIC DOMAIN concept, it is not allways legal to use
  73. these pictures commercially. If you have any doubts, try and look up
  74. the creator (BBS) of the picture.

  76. WARNING In some countries and states the law prohibits the sale of
  77. X-Rated material to minors or to persons under the age of 18. If you
  78. are subject to these limitations your license is terminated
  79. immedially, and all copies, modifications and merged copies in any
  80. form must be destroyed. MediaProducts can under no circumstance be
  81. held responsible if subjects to the above limitations do not terminate
  82. their license immedially, as stated in this document.

  84. Some of the animations on this disk are for Windows - there are no
  85. good working freeware / shareware players for these animations, that
  86. run in DOS. For your convenience we have supplied a Video For Windows
  87. (.AVI) player in the \START\INSTALL\VFW11E directory.
  88. Please look up the accompanying text files for help on how to install
  89. and use these programs.
