  5. There are so many trackers around, why use UT ?
  6. -----------------------------------------------
  7. - full 32 voice/track support
  8. - full support for 8bit and 16bit samples 
  9. - no ultraclicks !
  10. - supports nearly all ProTracker effects, some own ones and effectcombination 
  11. - loads: 4-/6-/8-/16-track (15-/31-Sample) .MOD, .669, .MTM, .FAR and .ULT
  12. - loads: *.wav, *.snd, *.fsm, *.uwf and all types of raw sample data 
  13. - mouse support, sample editor, esy to use interface ... etc.
  14. - all functions are available, even in unregistered version
  15. - because I use it too ;-))

  17. Version 1.5 - - released ??-??-1993

  19. - now you have 8 octaves (added 5, 6 and 7). You should use the higher ones
  20.   (esp. 6 and 7) only on samples, with a high sampling rate. Low rate
  21.   samples may sound wrong or "different".
  22. - you can now load 4/6/8/16 track .mod, .669, .far, .mtm and .ult !
  23. - you can use up to 10 file masks for songs and up to 10 for samples !
  24. - increased the speed of the playback-routine (about 30 times faster ;-) )
  25. - many small changes are made eg: You can click around in the edit field,
  26.   speeds are displayed, use right mouse-button for fast clicks and many other
  27.   things are done, but I can't remember them all right now :-))
  28. - fixed some small bugs (like everytime...)
  29. - fixed "exit ultra wave bug"; on some vga-boards the screen reset didn't 
  30.   work propably
  31. - added pan-position table (changes in ult-format !)
  32. - added stereo-vumeter
  33. - new funktions: PAN POSITION and CHANGE SIGN (changes signed/unsigned sample
  34.   data, after sample is loaded)
  35. - new effects: 0 and 5-C
  36. - added distribution list (if you want to become a dist site, read 
  37.   support.ut !!)
  38. - added this info file, for the non-german speaking people (hope you can 
  39.   understand my "great" english) ;-)
  40. - ! HEY: everybody who wants to register in the future, will receive a 
  41.   !      KEY-FILE. With this file, you can use coming shareware versions 
  42.   !      of UT without any shareware delays (means no more updating is 
  43.   !      needed !!!) !
  44.   !      If you are already registered, send me your disk and about 3$US 
  45.   !      (for charge) and you'll receive the latest version and the key !!

  49. - ATT: Please don't use the following effect(combination)s, until they are 
  50.        supported ! You may get in trouble, if you use a future version of UT
  51.        in which the effect(combination) has a function:
  52.        They are: 6, 7, 8, 11, 22, 33, 44, 66, 77, 88, AA, BB, CC, DD !  
  53.        
  54.        Hope you understand. Eg: combining AA has no effect on the song, 
  55.        because you can't slide down and up, the same time. But in future 
  56.        versions of UT this effect (AA) my get an function and if your song
  57.        is full of AA, it may sound wrong !
