  1. How to Register TextPad
  2. =======================

  4. Registration Benefits:
  5. ----------------------
  6. This product makes use of the most advanced software technology available
  7. today.  As the technology improves, so does our software.  Your
  8. registration fee enables us to keep it at the forefront of technology, so
  9. that you continue to benefit from the productivity gains it gives you.
  10.  
  11. As a registered user, you will receive:
  12.  
  13.   ~  A copy on 3.5" diskette of the latest release of both 16 and 32-bit
  14.      editions, which include support for OLE2 drag and drop editing, plus
  15.      Win32s installation disks.
  16.   ~  A license to use all future maintenance releases (which will be made
  17.      available for downloading using FTP, and from CompuServe).  This
  18.      license file will be e-mailed to you, if you quote your address with
  19.      your order.
  20.   ~  The display of your name, company and registration number on the About
  21.      dialog box.
  22.   ~  Technical support via e-mail, by FAX, or through the mail, at no
  23.      charge.

  25. Registration Instructions:
  26. --------------------------
  27. The registration fee can be paid direct to Helios Software Solutions in
  28. UK Pounds, or to PsL using a credit card, or it can be debited from your
  29. CompuServe account using the shareware registration service.

  31. Discounted site licenses can be negotiated.  Just ask!
  32.  
  33. a) Direct Orders:
  34. Payment must be by UK pound denominated drafts drawn on a UK bank, or by
  35. EuroCheque, or by Pound Sterling International Money Order.  Sorry, but
  36. banking fees for payments in other denominations are prohibitively
  37. expensive.  Please send the completed registration form (see below), and
  38. enclose a cheque or money order, payable to "Helios Software Solutions".

  40. b) CompuServe Shareware Registration Service
  41. If you have a CompuServe account you can have the registration fee
  42. debited from your account.  Simply GO SWREG and follow the online
  43. instructions, quoting registration ID number 3938.
  44. To insure that you get the latest version, CompuServe will notify us on
  45. the day of your order and we will ship the product directly to you.
  46. The registration fee for orders made using this service is $30 plus $5.00
  47. shipping and handling.

  49. c) PsL Registration Service:
  50. You can order TextPad from Public (software) Library with your MC, Visa,
  51. AmEx or Discover card by calling 1-800-2424-PsL (from outside of North
  52. America: 713-524-6394), or by FAX to 713-524-6398, or by CompuServe
  53. to 71355,470. You can also mail credit card orders to PsL at P.O.Box 35705,
  54. Houston, TX 77235-5705. THESE NUMBERS ARE FOR ORDERING ONLY.  Any other
  55. queries, including the the status of the shipment of the order, must be
  56. addressed to Helios Software Solutions.  With any credit card order, you
  57. must specify its number and expiry date; your name exactly as it appears
  58. on your credit card; and the billing address for the card.
  59. PsL's Office hours are: 7am to 6pm CST Monday-Thursday, and 7am to 12:30pm
  60. CST on Fridays.
  61. To insure that you get the latest version, PsL will notify us on the day
  62. of your order and we will ship the product directly to you.
  63. The registration fee for orders through PsL is $30 plus $5.00 shipping
  64. and handling.

  66. d) Purchase Orders:
  67. Purchase orders (net 30 days) are accepted only from government and
  68. accredited educational institutions and major corporations, provided that
  69. they are submitted on purchase order forms with a purchase order number.
