  5. FUNCTION
  6. DRVST graphically displays the distribution of the number of files
  7. versus file size for disk drives.  It also determines waste space by
  8. drive versus cluster size based on DOS/Window's file allocation scheme.
  9.  
  10. INSTALLATION
  11. If you received this version of DRVST in a ZIP file, first
  12. extract the files to any directory, then copy DRVST.EXE to your
  13. windows directory (acutally any convenient directory will do).
  14. There are two files in the zip file, they are:

  16.      DRVST.EXE    Executable
  17.      README.TXT   This file
  18.  
  19. After installing DRVST.EXE open file manager,
  20. traverse to the directory where DRVST.EXE is stored,
  21. position the file list so the DRVST.EXE icon is visible,
  22. and double click on the DRVST icon.  This will start DRVST.
  23.  
  24. If you wish to install DRVST so it will be available for use from
  25. the program manager, open file manager in partial window forn,
  26. traverse to the directory where DRVST.EXE is stored,
  27. position the file list so the DRVST.EXE icon is visible, 
  28. and drag the DRVST icon to the Program group where you would
  29. like to start DRVST from.

  31. REQUIREMENTS
  32. Windows 3.1, Windows NT, Windows for Workgroups or Windows 95.

  34. DOCUMENTATION
  35. This file is the documentation for DRVST as the its operation
  36. is easy.  Drives can be individually scanned and examined or
  37. all drives on the system may scanned as a group.  All the functions
  38. in the menu are duplicated on the toolbar.

  40. DISTRIBUTION CONDITIONS
  41. DRVST if freeware.  You are free to distribute this version of DRVST
  42. as long as the following conditions are met:
  43.   1) The distributed archive must contain ONLY the files listed above.
  44.   2) The contents of this archive are NOT MODIFIED in any way.
  45.   3) This version is not to be sold.  However, a reasonable disk copying fee
  46.      is permitted.
