  18. To install this revision:-
  19.  
  20. 1) Copy TORNAD1C.ZIP into your TORNADO directory.
  21.  
  22. 2) Use PKUNZIP (v2.04) to unzip TORNAD1C.ZIP.

  24.     pkunzip -d TORNAD1C.ZIP <ENTER>
  25.  
  26. 3) Run UPDATE.EXE to modify some files.

  31. This revision addresses the following issues:-
  32.  
  33.  1) Mission save in campaign - it is now possible to save flight plans during
  34.     campaigns.
  35.  
  36.  2) US Robotics 14400 Modem - the program now caters for the non-Hayes
  37.     compatible codes used by this modem.
  38.  
  39.  3) ThrustMaster rudder pedal support.
  40.  
  41.  4) Promotion bug fixed.
  42.  
  43.  5) SAM effectiveness - SAMs are no longer always lethal but you will sustain
  44.     more damage.

  46.  6) Quit game - you no longer have to be stationary to end a mission. It is 
  47.     now ok to end a mission when you have landed and your ground speed is
  48.     below 30kts.

  50.  7) Explore mode - now fixed to daytime.

  52.  8) Air victories bug fixed in log.

  54.  9) SAM launcher changed from ZRK-Romb to ZREK-BD Strela 10.

  56. 10) Enemy aircraft barrel roll phenomenon fixed.

  58. 11) Drone view displays aircraft designation. IDS and ADV Tornados
  59.     display abbreviated callsign (A)lpha, (B)ravo etc.

  61. 10) Digital fuel readout on instrument panel.

  63. 11) When the air radar is switched on it automatically selects range
  64.     with respect to selected air weapon.
  65.  
  66. 12) Dogfight mode. If no weapons are armed, then hitting fire will
  67.     automatically arm air-to-air weapons and switch on the air radar.

  69. 13) RWR gives audible warning when incoming missiles are very close.

  71. 14) SoundBlaster bugs fixed.
